Jason Kelce isn’t afraid to put it all out there.
The T-tsformer Philadelphia Eagles center had a comical entrance to his debut on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown and his brother Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift were loving the viral moment.
After Jason’s co-hosts noted that the 36-year-old forgot to pack a shirt for the appearance and was wearing a shirt he purchased from the mall, Jason replied, “It fits my belly now, I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but my t-ts are still struggling,” all while puffing out his chest.
“A great quote and me and Taylor were watching that absolutely dying laughing at it,” Travis quipped on the Sept. 11 episode his and Jason’s New Heights podcast. “It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they were going to experience for the next 18 weeks.”
At the time, Travis replied to the moment online, commenting, “Surprised he even bought a new one, and didn’t just go shirtless.”
During the podcast, the Grostesqueire star pondered whether or not this marked the first time the word “t-ts” had been used on the sports network.
“I don’t know. T-ts is a funny word because I think it’s allow-able,” Jason noted. “It’s not against the rules to say in a broadcast, but it’s definitely something you wouldn’t typically say in a broadcast. It’s one of those words that doesn’t belong on a broadcast.”
And to that, Travis agreed.
“T-ts was the most perfect word that you could have used for the situation,” the football star added. “Those buttons were holding on by the thread.”
The brothers also touched on Travis and Taylor’s much-discussed appearance at the U.S. Open on Sept. 8, with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sharing that it was his first time attending the event.
“This was a completely different world,” Travis said. “It’s very quiet and you know us. When it’s very quiet we want to say something and we want to do something. I’m not a quiet person. I’ve never been a quiet person."
He continued, "I’ve always been the kid in the back of the class when it gets quiet, say something smart or say something funny, at least try to get a rise out of people. So the entire time I wanted to heckle the Italian, [Jannik] Sinner, the number one player in the world. And really try to get in his head to help my guy Fritzy [Taylor Fritz] out.”
But Travis “played it cool” and “respectful,” said he was picturing the heckler in Happy Gilmore.
“I dressed the part. I acted the part,” Travis continued. “I was very quiet. Except for intermissions when they were playing music. That was the only time I was really showing my personality.”
